Crufts 2007
This year at Crufts Was a good year for us Juniors, no less than three of them were present at Crufts this year, Sam (Being Myself) and Oliver were both in the Agility dog of the year Semi-final running Tammy and Chase respectively, sadly neither of them managed to reach the final in the main ring, Sam getting a clear round but missing out on the placings and Oliver unfortunately getting an E. Oliver and Chase were not yet finished however and went back the next day to compete in the Jumping final alongside Robyn and Widget, both pulling of a great performance, unluckily Robyn and Widget were E'ed at the collapsible tunnel, but, Oliver proved that just because his dog (Chase) was almost twice his age, didn't mean that they still couldn't achieve great things by winning his age group(6-12)
Sam And Oliver would both like to pass on their gratitude to Jen Goude for letting them have the chance to run to excellent examples of OAADs (old age agility dogs)

We'll start with Biddy Powell and Suzie who came home with a 3rd in the grade 1&2 Agility and a 12th In the Large Steeplechase, Biddy's other dog Tess had an even better day with a grand total of three places, 6th In the Grade 1&2 Large Agility, 13th In the Large Steeplechase and to finish, a well deserved 2nd in the Grade 1&2 Jumping.
Now onto Lesley Hill with Gypsy who both out did themselves coming 7th in the Large Grad 1&2 Jumping, Well done to both of you. Next up is Judy and Bonnie who took home a tidy 5th in the Large Grade 1&2 Agility.
Finally two people had a phenomenal day, they were Robyn and Widget who won both the Medium Grade 1&2 Jumping and Agility. But the days best performance has got to have been, Marian and Barley who, with their first clear round came 1st in the Small Grade 1&2 Agility.

Agility Addicts January 2007
The first show of the new year, and already this looks like it's going to be the one to remember, with results streaming in all ready.
To start with shock news that Weasel and Jo won the Small Medium Novice Agility, which propels them quite firmly into senior at any further Agility Addict shows, well done Jo, you worked hard for that. Next on the list is Richard Hughes running Robyns Terrier Widget into Novice by wining both Medium Starters Jumping and Agility, as well as a third in the Medium Jump and Gamble, I think we can safely say that Richard was worn out by the end of the day. Now Onto Steph Running Mollie, two places for them 3rd in Starters Jumping And 5th In Starters Agility. Next we have Geoff Clinton and Meg who came 3rd in Small Medium Jumping. Finally Jenny Goude and Tammy came third in Veteran Jumping, which goes to show, Collies don't always win.
I would also like to make a special mention of Steph Thomas and Isa, who came within a toenails length of winning Elementary Agility, if only she had contained her excitement for a fraction of a second longer the last jump would have stood, as in every other way it was a brilliant run, it was a real pity. Better luck next time.
I am quite sure that there are more results from the winter lurking out there somewhere, so get them sent to me, as if I don't know about them I can't let the world know about your achievements
